Lay Your Foundation For Success
Without your basic core compression and straight arm strength development from Foundations, the road to a press handstand is going to be a difficult one. The organized progressions from Foundation One, will open your shoulders, rewire your hips, and rebuild your core. Those range of motion and strength gains combined with steadily more challenging exercise will prepare your nervous system to handle the complexity of press handstands. Your basic gymnastic strength is essential for crushing your press handstands later into your training!

Since press handstand exercises like the wide grip stalder press (Above) require a completely balanced body, flexibility and active mobility are going to be your best friend. Active mobility (think weighted) is thoroughly covered in the Foundation Series, but to help speed things along, you’re going to want to be doing some deep stretching as well.
The GB Stretch Series will rapidly accelerate your hip, hamstring, back, and shoulder mobility, getting you to that goal of a press handstand much faster. It’s well worth your time to make stretching a consistent part of your week.
Prepare and Practice!
