The Elevated Thoracic Bridge Push-Up is a weighted mobility drill and a progression toward the full bridge. It intensifies the mobility drill in the shoulders, so the athlete can focus on bending through their upper thoracic spine.

Elevated Thoracic Bridge Push-Up
- Begin in your best elevated thoracic bridge position.
- Bend your elbows and lower your head to the floor with control, keeping your hips high.
- Press back up and achieve a proper bridge again.
- Pause, be sure you have maximal thoracic extension and a proper bridge, then repeat for reps.
