The Straddle Handstand Run is an advanced handstand drill that will strengthen the shoulder girdle and fine-tune an athlete's control while switching between arms in one-arm handstands.

Straddle Handstand Run
- Begin in a free handstand and straddle your legs apart wide.
- Shift some weight to right arm and take your left off the ground.
- Tap your left shoulder with your left hand, place it back on the floor, and continue to switch sides.
- Maintain proper alignment and reach for the floor with your scapula fully elevated.
- You must touch your shoulder for a rep to count; almost touching, almost counts.
