Supine Trap
The Supine Trap stretch is an effective upper trap stretch that loosens tight trap muscles. If you are feeling tight from the shoulders through your neck, this will help relieve tension in neck and shoulders.

Supine Trap
- Begin lying on your back with your arms by your sides.
- Tuck your chin to your chest and roll backward with your lower body.
- Place your knees and shins down on the floor next to your ears if your flexibility allows for it.
- If you're not yet flexible enough to go that low, feel free to support your hips with your hands or place your knees on blocks.
- There should be no discomfort in the neck. If you are experiencing discomfort, come out of the stretch immediately.
- Retract your shoulder blades and wiggle your elbows closer together to create a better position for your neck.
- Hold this trap stretch for time.
