    2017 Seminar in UK/Europe?

Hi, does anyone know if there is a seminar planned for the UK or Europe in 2017? If so approximately when? Thanks.
  2. I missed the recent level one seminar in Denver. Does anyone one know if there is anything scheduled for Denver or anywhere in the US sometime this year? Cheers

    GB level 1 Seminar- Singapore

Hi everyone, Next month I will be flying from Phx, Arizona to Singapore to attend the GB level 1 seminar at Body Tree. This will be my first time traveling overseas alone which is scary but this is a once in a lifetime experience. I just wanted to give a giant thank you to @Coach Sommer for building such a great community and for making this trip happen. Upon arrival I will have 2 days to acclimate to the time zone change and to check out the city. If anyone lives in Singapore, or has been there before, could you recommend any places to see during my stay? I will be counting down the days! Thanks again!

    Denver Seminar - May 2016

Who's coming to Denver, May28-29!!* I'm new in the GB community and gymnastics. I’ve been around the block a few times, always exploring different movement modalities and looking for genuine movement teachers. Yet often ending with one sort of injury or another. In hindsight, mostly due to improper progressions and my naive nature in thinking I was in good hands, when perhaps a better process, or at least, more individual attention to the student’s “leaks" and deficits was needed. Hmm, but that’s just the why (or my opinion). The what is I’m grateful to all my teachers as each one brings me closer to explore further or find another path that takes me closer to the source, ergo grounded in thought and individual creativity instead of mimicry. I'm fascinated by the human body-mind connection and “BALANCE" is my cause. Started my company 10 yrs ago to teach an integrative, multi-disciplinary approach to heath and the one things I love more than teaching is (__) BEING a student. Every thirsty student wants a good teacher and a good teacher is really hard to find. Now, I don’t look for good teachers anymore. Not because I don’t have much to learn, on the contrary. The more you know, the more you realize you don’t know squat and one day you're going to die. I’m older, wiser and I simply don’t have time for the BS, egos, or the nonsense. I now look for a process and thinking that's founded on sound principles. And behind those principles… I continue to find the most amazing teachers and new friends. Who cares how long it will take me to learn these skills! It’s taken me years to knock on Sommer’s door, and I may need to come back in another life in order to learn some of these moves. Just happy I AM here now. I know most people don't like doing the nitty-gritty work, but I actually look forward to workING. For one, the learning never stops and you never know when something is going to click, and boom, a new universe of possibilities opens up in front of you. Priceless. Then, you can look back, or forward, and recalibrate your thoughts and expectations in the present moment, which is all there is anyway. Can’t buy this anywhere without doing the work. So here I am GB community: Looking forward to learning from ALL of your collective knowledge! A very special thank you to Coach Sommer for consolidating and sharing a life's worth of knowledge in such incremental progressions and thoughtfulness. What an incredible value and concept! Am I the only one who thinks this is a rare talent?? I will say that in scanning the Foundation series, I see a very sound and solid process laid out in front of me. The pieces of the puzzle are no longer scattered all over the place, nor hidden in a secret, ancient treasure chest… The elements are HERE for me to put them together and create my own picture – one piece at a time. I’m BEYOND excited and feeling at home. It’s a worthwhile investment to study the material before moving into action. Well that’s just my personal preference – even if my ass hurts like hell from all the sitting, writing and getting situated with the content of what’s going to become my next movement practice. What better place to start than at the beginning! Thank you all. Much respect, Eva

    Week out from Seminar

Hey everyone, I'm going to the Denver seminar this coming weekend May 28-29, 2016 and I was wondering what if anything I should do during this week prior? Should I continue with my normal foundations work and stretch sessions or take it easy? Also I'm excited, but definitely nervous as I am definitely a beginner when it comes to GST with severely limited ROM, esp in my upper body. Shoulder extension is horrible. How many other beginners are going? Thanks, Max

    Stroud seminar 2016

Hello everyone My name is Robert, i am from Serbia, and this is my first post on this forum. To cut it short - i have a lumbar scoliosis which has (in past year-two) started making me some issues due to my graphic-designer (sedentary) lifestyle. I found some huge benefits with F1/H1 program and decided to invest in my future and health and registered for upcoming seminar in Stroud in July - 16&17. I have spotted a similar thread, but i would like to refresh it and expand it a bit, before i reserve any accommodation and airplane flight. Since that will be my first time in England, if anyone wants to share a room / apartment i would really appreciate it. If more of you guys have already made a deal, maybe to rent a bigger house, if there is a room for more people, please let me know. Generally i am opened for any suggestion / idea Depending on airplane schedules i plan to arrive on Thursday, so i can adapt a bit, avoid the jet lag and too much rush. If anyone is going to England from abroad or just travelling from London to Stroud, i would look forward to travel together. Again - sorry for opening a new thread, just wanted to introduce myself and find some company for this trip. Thanks guys and keep up the good work!
  7. Hi, Love the foundation, handstands and rings program. My question is what do you cover in the seminar series. I have progressed fairly well through foundation and handstand programs and am wondering what other material will be covered in the 2 day seminar. This is not too devalue the seminar at all, I am just keen to understand more fully what the seminar covers and what it has that isn't in the foundation programs.

    Getting ready for a seminar

Hi guys, I'll be attending the Cornwall Seminar which is in about one month. I'm very excited and wondering what's the best way to get ready. It would be great if experienced people could share their suggestions, all the students attending the seminars would benefit from this. I'm thinking to run a deload week before going to the seminar even if I'm scheduled to do week 2. I want to avoid to arrive there tired, what do you think? Also I'm wondering what's good to bring to the class. Towel, water/coconut water, snacks, stuff for shower, note book...

Who's going to the Miami seminar?

I'll be there. Anyone else from here planning on going? I'm looking to split a rental car and hotel room, if anyone is interested.
  10. I'm going to to the Scottsdale seminar next weekend, and I'm trying to figure out how much training I should be doing next week. Is it safe to assume that each day of the seminar will contain the equivalent of a moderate to heavy workout? Should I give myself a day or two of rest leading up to the seminar?

Who's going to the May 2013 seminar?

I'm planning on attending the Gymnastics Bodies seminar in May. Looking forward to meeting some awesome people and learning a lot . Who else is planning on going? Also, I'm still making hotel arrangements for the seminar. Would anyone be interested in splitting a room for the weekend? My plan is to book a room for Friday, Saturday and Sunday night.
