reverse muscle up progress

Finally i've understood the technique demonstrated in the Dillon's video.

At the beginning i wasn't able to understand the motion.

i have a long journey in order to clean the form but combining the inverted chin up with biceps curls is a good way to start multiple reps while improving the degree of biceps curl in the final version.

Progress are very slow, the stress on the forearms is high (probably on the 5x5 day i do one negative in 3 second and a concentrich in 2 seconds, so for 5 reps is 25 seconds tension for the forearms always on false grip) and some more stretching is very good to balance all the contractions.

I can remember when it was only a dream.

I'm starting to feeling it a true goal!

Nice Alex, some good progress since Lon seminar, I also like that your ascent is with legs on inside of straps (not outside), now one with legs off straps please :).

Nice one Alex! Huge amounts of strength in that movement.

 

I think #invertedfive is a high five (celebratory hand gesture) but an inverted one following the theme of your inverted MU  :)

the thing that surprise me a lot is what i've ridden in one post of Coach on youtube video of Dillon performing reverse mu, he said that he developed it in 4 years.

At the beginning i was astonished "4 years what the hell". the strange thing is that i've started GST exactly 4 years ago.

Well, we can't all be Dillon...  I still can't picture myself training the reverse muscle up in 4 years.  Rings handstand maybe, but that curl is ridiculous.
