Pronator Teres trouble

While working on my planche lean (sPL/PE5), I managed to hurt something in my forearm; my chiropractor thinks its my pronator teres. I can still work on it somewhat, but obviously need to take it easy. Unfortunately I didn't take any video of my form beforehand, but I'm wondering if anybody has some insight into what might have gone wrong and where I should look to correct, as well as any general advice for healing this, as its a new injury for me.

Generally I've found that specific muscle diagnosis even when correct miss the point that all muscles in the complex need to function together.

If it's a simple strain then the usual protocol would apply. Rest, ice (first 24-48 hours), compession  (if swelling), elevation (maybe) and heat after 48 hours. Rest being the most important. After 72 hours look at crossfrictional massage and active release where the pain occurs, which you can do yourself. Look at at general forearm and elbow mobility/strengthing rehab protocols when acute paiin subsides - not specific to one muscle.

In essense I have 100% success rate with this approach. Every injury I ever had was healed eventually, just don't rush back into action until pain is gone and mobility and strength returns.  Can't say the cause but you might have been going to far forward or for too long. More than your forearm was ready for at any rate.
