hype
hi guys.I would like to get myself a pull up bar to train at my home from times to times when I can't make it to the gymI'm not sure if I should buy a power station or a doorway pullupbar and mabey hang rings on it (I can't mount anything in my parents' house so that's my only two options) For the power station, I'm thinking of buying the stamina 1690OR I would buy the iron gym doorway pull up bar .. If any of you have experience with these, could you tell me what is better to buy? A power station or a doorway pullup bar?
Julian Aldag
The pull up bar is cheaper, and the only benefit of the power station (that I can see is ) the dip station, which you can substitute for chairs.Buy the pull up bar, and put the money you saved towards the foundation programs
hype
thanks for feedback.as for the pull up bar, is it suitable for back lever, front lever, skin the cat, german hangs etc ?
Julian Aldag
I wouldn't do anything inverted. If it breaks while your upside down, you're done.Do you have a park nearby with some equipment you can hang off of? (This worries me: )

I have seen too many accidents where they fall down.

Bryan Wheelock
The doorway bars always dent the door trim for me. I do weigh 230 lbs though.Do your parents have a garage?
hype
Yeah but with 2 cars inside during whole winter there's no space :/ i can put a power station in my basement though
Bryan Wheelock
You don't have access to the floor joists from the basement?I think a set of gymnastic rings are better than either of your other two options. You can buy 2 D rings that only attach with four screws. It's simple to repair those holes with wood glue.
