Joshua Naterman
You're going to find people all over the place on that one, here and everywhere else. For me, I find that a good bit of fruit right before and some jellybeans during my workout works best for me, and I put fruits into my PWO shake. It works well for me. I also have more carbs Wednesday, since it's the middle of the workout week.
Jason Stein
I read one paleo book ...Dgibbons,Paleo-style eating does not mean no sugar or low-carb, although those are permutations of it. It means no grains, legumes and dairy, and even the last (dairy) is a bit flexible. So 'sugar' in the form of yams, sweet potatoes, bananas, etc are considered Paleo.Paleo is designed to give structure to your choices regarding the quality of your food. At that point, there're infinite variations as far as the macronutrient composition of your food, the ratio of those macronutrients, and when and how much you eat.best,j

Jay Guindon
Peas would depend on the lectins in it, both type and amount. All plants contain lectins, not all are harmful.
