Larry
So every time i exercise on the jumpy wooden gymnastics bar i eventually rip a hole in the middle of my palm (see picture below). With the basic calluses on and under fingers it is easy - i can just shave them off and dont get them ripped. But for this one it doesnt even look like theres anything that could rip off. What should i do to prevent these?

Ivan Pavlovic
Type gymnastic grip on google, that should help.
Coach Sommer
- First and foremost; do not do too much. No amount of handcare or grips or tape will make up for a failure to be prudent in your training. - Second; when you do over indulge stop as soon as your hands begin to feel a little bit 'hot'. Still want to train more? Tough. Stop anyway. - Third; soak your hands in super-saturated salt water when feeling that 'hot' is either on the way or already arrived.
