Mats Trane
I´m trying to learn the free handstand. What should I focus my eyes on?
John Sapinoso
you should be able to see your hands, just remember you see with your eye, not your entire head
Coach Sommer
Where Should I Look During a Handstand?During a handstand, my recommendation is to always keep your eyes directly on your thumbs. This should be accomplished by squeezing your ears with your arms and looking up just enough to see your thumbs through your eyebrows.Yours in Fitness,Coach Sommer
Mats Trane
Thanks for a great tip coach. I like the bit "squeezing your ears with the arms" Does this apply when doing it in the rings as well?
Blairbob
Cdx, for handstand on rings, ideally. For swinging on rings, the shoulders should be really relaxed with the head and ears covered by the ears. There are some exceptions, but that is general technique.
