Jesse OBrien
Does anyone have any information on any strength indicators that would support having a one arm chin-up? Particularly double arm pulling strength necessary for a one arm chin-up? Expressed as an absolute or relative % of weight. For example: BWT 175 Weight Pull-Up 140 Relative to BW = 82% Any data that supports that a particular ratio, would demonstrate the ability to perform a OAC? Everett Carroll
I'm not sure about anything that specific but I have been playing with slow negatives on the rope (6-10 seconds per arm) and am now really close to OAC as a result.
Alessandro Mainente
two arms and one arm have a different dynamic activation. on the one arm version there is much more stabilization in the shoulder girdle for this reason there is no double hands weighted work that prepares adequately fort he one arm chin up.
