GHD Situps

I searched the forums and couldn't find anything related to GHD sit-ups, was wondering what the consensus is among the community regarding this exercise.

 

Assuming proper form and adequate core strength, is there a place for this exercise in GST? Most articles online comment on the dangers of repeated hyperextension and flexion of the spine. Does anyone incorporate mild GHD sit-ups into their routine?

This exercise in the worldof GST has practically no utility. the physical preparation reflects the exercises/technical movement which are performed in gymnastics, there are no skills which requires this GHD sit up. compared with hanging leg lift they are soooooooo easy,
