Seiji
I'm curious on how to do one. My front tucks are fabulous (if I say so myself) and I wanted something a bit harder. If back layouts require back muscles, I'm assuming front is the same. I'm just not sure how to go about this. Mine just look like a bent legged front flip... No tucking, just bent knees and hips. I'm sure I'd eventually just do it, but there may always be a faster way As I've said: I have no access to a gym, and my mini trampoline broke, so I have to try new stuff into a volleyball court. Not bad at all.
Blairbob
Have access to a pool? Drills from layout include the front flyspring to encourage the heel drive.
Seiji
I do have a pool, but it's winter, and it's REALLY cold This is the closest I have to it: (the first motion)ERiNvM_hOg4 I know what the problem is for everything else, just not that. Razz
I don't suggest learning front layout on anything thats not spring floor or landing pit or equal. Maybe that's just me but i'd not like to land with an arched back on hard gruond or faceplant while i'm looking up (broken neck anyone?).
Seiji
I see your point I got a bone bruise inside my left knee once for landing with straight legs. It sucked for a long time LOL (this happened in my magical sand pit)
Gregor
Landing is looking like, more like squat with arms in front, with wider width.
Blairbob
It was 48 degrees a few weeks ago and I worked it fine. I wouldn't want to stay in it for any length of time but it's good metcon to try to get to land as fast as possible.
Seiji
Yea, I definitely learned my lesson. All pools I have access to are slippery around the edges, so I'll stick to the sand.I won't land on my head unless I go for doubles. (not even gonna try unless i get an amazing rebounder or visit a gym)My worst crash is a face plant into the sand by over rotating a one legged front flip :/ It was worth it
