advanced frog stand

Hi there, i have got a question about this exercise, i ve got problems with keeping my elbows straight, should i step back to frog stand variation ? ( i added planche leans and planche pseudo pushups, i think they may help)

Another thing is , ill have access to rings tomorrow, and i wanted to try a basic curl, is it better to do it from tucked position (easier?)

Could some one possibly film or show me the video of chest roll to headstand? i dont quite understand how to do it:)

chest roll to HS

doing curls stretched or tucked/piked doesn't change them much for me as I get the same ROM. The difference is probably how they balance.

as for the planche progressions, try pushing down hard against the floor.

thank you for such quick response,i will try those tips today and see how is my curling ability.

Video helped quite a lot, it seems to be easy but i ve got problems with this, well everything takes time(i cant even press myself in something close to headstand,not mentioning the handstands..

We warm up the basic chest roll in our warmup by going from a seal/arched prone support to chest while kicking the heels high behind us. It's actually an easier form of an arch/superman rock.

If you can place your hands below your body, it can serve as a progression drill to make chest roll to HeS easier. We have mats at gym but a folded up futon or mattress might suffice.

Obviously, not really worth working if you can't do a HeS. Practice that press HeS on the wall or negative presses while spotted or on the wall.

i mean i cant press myself from that arched position to headstand, i can do handstand pushups negatives pretty well:) that tips wit putting hands lower helps A LOT !ha and curls are quite easy but challenging exercise:) i managed to do 4 x 5 :)

Patience is a key in rolling your heels high enough and waiting to push besides optimal hand placement.

I like the curls for shoulder balancing. I think I may just try handstand to hang instead. Sounds interesting.

thank you for tips, ill work on some chest rolls tomorrow and see how it goes.:) my body aches after yesterday- god i love this feeling, it was awesome session, backflips were crazy backhandsprings terrible but it was pure fun:)
