Juan Martinez 246408
Happy hoildays to all. Can anyone here share some info in regards to training legs. My question here being is a myth or is there fact , that having big legs hinder upper body gymnastics. Pretty much is training legs for a hypertrophy counter intuitive to the goals of upper body gst??
Alessandro Mainente
Training legs it is not counterproductive. having a lot of muscle mass it is. Gymnasts have some of the most stronger and powerful legs in the world due to the ability to absorb and create power. While body mass can be a problem for the most elements, it can be overcome with a good periodization on the vertical movements, the lower body mass it is a problem especially for the horizontal lever especially planche where little muscles are involved. front lever it is more realistic and it can be achieved with a good program and patience. 2
