Jonathan Howard Posted September 15, 2018 Share Posted September 15, 2018 I’ve been doing the GB course for a few weeks now and absolutely love it. I do hanging at home and the gym to get some nice stretch on my back and shoulders plus build some grip strength. They have some rings at the gym. Would I be doing too much too soon to try ring false grip hangs instead of normal hook grip dead hangs? I’ve been supersetting 1 min dead hangs on my squat days (1x/week) all summer and between that and the mobility gains I’m already seeing from just a couple weeks of foundation and stretch series my squats have NEVER felt better. Alessandro Mainente Posted September 15, 2018 Share Posted September 15, 2018 False grip work increases a lot the stress on the inner elbow. i suggest beginning some work with this type of grip only at the completion of Foundations 2.
