Band Series - Is Doing All in One Warmup Too Much?

Gymnastic bodies friends

what is your thoughts on doing all 6 banded series in one warmup before foundation one upper body day?

was considering doing weighted mobility + single bar once a week as warmup, and entire band series on the second upper body day as warmup.

best

Yes probably too much..the mainproblem could be before or after the main exercises.

before with light bands no set to failure....after heavy band s and set to failure...(eventually to failure)

@Alessandro Mainentethe band series does only 5 reps on each exercise, so no way to go too hard there. Was thinking of lighter bands as it’s a warmup, can’t go straight into heavier work.

the band series generally has 5 rep for each exercise, aren’t we supposed to copy that and do only 5 reps?

The amount of relative intensity can be achieved by:

- increasing time under tension

- increasing eventually the range of motion

- increasing the tension of the bands

in fact i do not have mentioned reps.

so having a combination of light bands, little time under tension and eventually less range of motion leads to less complexity and llighter workout.
