Rings and Bar Muscle Up

I'm not sure if this should be in rings or basic strength section, but how does the muscle up on bars compare to on rings? The technique looks a bit different since the bar keeps you from leaning forward, but otherwise is it harder?

If done slowly and without momentum, swing, OR kip the bar is much harder than the rings. Otherwise ring variations are harder.

At least, that's been my experience and that has been what people who actually know say, so there we go lol!

For me it's the same if we are talking about norlmal MU on rings. On rings you can do extreemly wide arm MU and that is much more harder then on a bar.

I can do a decent MU on the rings from a dead hang. I can't do the same on the bar, for the life of me.

Have you tried using a false grip on bar? From a dead hang, without a false grip requires a high pullup that has to be able to transition into the wrist shift easily.
