Ryan
It seems to be nearly impossible to find an open gym that has gymnastic equipment. The only gyms that have this type of equipment seem to be crossfit gyms and gymnastic gyms which both require you to take classes and only offer open gym once or twice a week at best. Should i continue searching for a gym or just buy the equipment myself ?
Erik Sjolin
Depends what kind of equipment you need. A few of the members here have built their own equipment (stahl bars, pull up bars, parallets, etc), but for rings it's best to just buy a pair of the Xtreme rings from the shop here (unless you're strapped for cash, in which case I believe slizzardman made a good set from scratch). Ryan
Well i actually have bought a pair of rings and i have been following the wods for close to 6 months with amazing progress. I live in SoCal and it has been raining non stop for the passed few weeks, making nearly impossible to go to my local park and put in training time. Seeing as i still live at home, it is quite hard to convince my mother to let me do hand stands in the living room :? I have actually been looking for a place that has Parallel bars, rings, a single bar, or any other gymnastic equipment so that i may do the exercises indoors.
