Ryan Richter
so the problem i am having is the start of the movement when your all the way down, how to get started up without using my feet to assist. i can do more advanced dips, but this one part of the dip is giving me trouble. i really want to work this one more as well because i am weak at the MU transition, which also may be the problem here but i think i just havent grasp the core concept of it. thank you for your help! Blairbob
From an upper arm hang, perform an upper arm shrug and then lean forward to get into the transition area. Play with the PB setting. General setting is somewhere between fingertips and knuckles from the elbow.

General setting is somewhere between fingertips and knuckles from the elbow.i dont have PB just dip bars the have enought room to accomidate this exercise. i just have to hang with my knees bent so i dont touch the ground.so the start of the movement is a shoulder shrug and shifting weight forward to start the arm movement to the dip possition. i have been playing with that but havent had much success. are you supposed to start with your arms at the 90 and use the momentum when going forward to about the 45 to get the elbows up or keep the elbows locked at the 90?If you haven't already, see if this helps at all i havent seen this video before, thank you! visual aids always help me.
