Me? An Athlete?
I grew up failing half of my PE classes. I couldn’t even do a pushup. Maybe I’m not born with speed or power, but with hard work and consistency, I managed to change that. I started working out 5-6 years ago with general conditioning, but something was lacking as I tried to learn some more advanced skills. I kept injuring my joints. I’m glad I found GymnasticBodies.
Over the past year, GymnasticBodies has helped me grow tremendously in terms of discovering my imbalances, developing strength and mobility, and even gaining knowledge about human body physiology. More importantly, its progressive approach has taught me patience, and how to build a solid foundation with the basics.
• I achieved my short-term goal of doing a strict and slow ring muscle up
• My joints are much stronger and more mobile than before
• My nagging pain from a hamstring injury two years ago is completely gone!
With GB, this is only a start of an amazing journey.
